On Sunday 28 June, Navala Churrascaria transforms into a traditional Brazilian arraial for
Festa Junina 2026 — one of Brazil’s most beloved cultural celebrations, brought to life in the
heart of Brisbane.
What is Festa Junina?
Festa Junina (the June Festival) is one of Brazil’s most cherished annual traditions, born in the rural northeast and celebrated by Brazilians around the world every June. Communities come together for dancing, live music, traditional food, and vibrant decorations to mark the harvest season and honour the saints of June.
At Navala, we bring this authentic slice of Brazilian culture to Brisbane every year. Come and experience it for yourself.
